Reuters reported that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu issued a statement clarifying his final position on the attack on Iran.
In the statement, he said, “We will listen to the US on the Iranian campaign, but we will take the decision ourselves.” We will make decisions based on Israel’s national interest.
In addition to the Palestinian Gaza Strip, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) recently launched operations in southern Lebanon. Israel has recently launched airstrikes as well as ground operations in Lebanon.
Following the start of the ground campaign, Iran fired nearly 200 ballistic missiles into Israel on the night of October 1. But the IDF destroys most of the missiles before they hit.
